Sher Entertainment began in 2016 in Orange County with one DJ and a simple goal: make South Asian weddings feel as good on the dance floor as they look in the photos.
Nine vendors.
One call.
Founder Kush Bhargava started Sher playing Sangeets, Baraats and Receptions across Southern California. Wedding after wedding, he watched couples juggle a DJ, a dhol player, a lighting company, an effects crew, a photographer and a filmmaker who had never met each other.
So Sher grew into one house. DJs, hosts, live musicians, lighting, effects, staging, photo, film and décor, all on one contract and one run of show, with one lead from the first call to the last song.
Today Sher has played more than 400 celebrations across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and destination weddings around the world, from intimate Mehndis to ballroom Receptions.

Kush founded Sher in 2016 and still plays and hosts weddings himself. He plans every celebration with the couple, builds the run of show and leads the team on the day.
